Creating a New Letter

 

In the top horizontal tool bar, click on Tools, then select Letter Writer from the drop down menu.

The Letter Writer window will open.

 

Adding Fields

The right side of the window displays a list of database fields. Add a database field by double-clicking on the field in the listing.

The field will be inserted into the letter's text where the cursor is currently positioned. Database fields are contained within square brackets ("[database_field]").

To create your custom letter, type the letter as you normally would, adding database fields where you would like to insert data stored in the system's database.

Saving and Printing

When you are finished, save the letter by clicking the Save button at the top of the window.

You will be prompted to give the letter a name before it is saved.
