If you select the format of your custom report to be a tab-delimited data file, the system will export the information to a location on your local computer.
A text-based file will be created, and the data for each field or column within the file will be separated with tabs.
Data from these files can be imported into spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft® Excel.
Limiting Data Displayed on Custom Reports
Whenever you design a custom report, such as a Data Export File, the data for the report will, by default, use the data displayed in the current window.
If you wish to limit which vehicles, deals, or customers are displayed in the report, apply Quick Filters or Advanced Filters .
You can create a filter, give it a name and save it, then apply the filter by clicking in the 'Runtime Filter' box in the lower right corner of the Report Designer window.
