After setting up a connection between the system and QuickBooks, you must tell the system how to translate (or map) its internal accounts into your QuickBooks accounts.
Note: It is assumed that you have a set of accounts already set up in your QuickBooks system at this point. If you do not, go back to your QuickBooks system and set up your accounts according to your business rules and needs.
Mapping/Translating Accounts
In Lot Wizard Pro, click the Accounting menu and select the Accounting Interface option from the pull-down menu.
The system will display the Accounting Link window.
Click the Account Cross References button to bring up the QuickBooks Account Mapping window.
Open the QuickBooks Account Mapping window (if it is not open already).
The window will display a list of the system's internal accounts.
Select a QuickBooks account into which you want the numbers from the internal account to be transferred.
Once you have finished all account mappings, click the Save/Exit button to save these changes.
You may also click the Cancel/Exit button to close the window without saving your changes.
If you wish to change the QuickBooks database reference by the system, you can click the QuickBooks button to select a different QuickBooks database file.
