Clicking on File in the menu bar causes the File pull-down menu to appear.
New Deal -- Clears all fields on the deal screens and prepares the program to accept and calculate a new deal. This acts the same as clicking the New Deal button and is the first step to starting a new deal.
Delete Deal -- Deletes a deal from the program's memory. This option is only available under the Process Deal tab and Deals & Quotes tab.
Load Deal -- Loads a previous deal from the program's memory and fills in the fields on the deal screens with the loaded data.
Save Deal -- Saves the data entered on the deal screens into the program's memory. This option is only available under the Process Deal tab.
Add Vehicle -- Clears all fields on the inventory entry screens and prepares the program to accept a new vehicle. This acts the same as clicking the Add New button and is the first step to adding a new vehicle into inventory. This option is only available under the Vehicle Details tab
Delete Vehicle -- Deletes the currently displayed/selected vehicle in the inventory. This option is only available under the Vehicle Details
Load Vehicle -- Loads a previously entered vehicle from inventory and onto the screen. This acts the same as clicking the Load Vehicle button in the inventory screen. This option is only available under the Vehicle Details
Save Vehicle -- Saves the data entered on the inventory screens into the software's memory. This acts the same as clicking the Save button in the inventory screens and is the final step to saving a vehicle into inventory. This option is only available under the Inventory Detail tab.
Default Forms Printer -- Allows you to select the printer that will automatically print and fill out preformatted and multi-part forms such as bank contracts or warranty forms.
Default Report Printer -- Allows you to select the printer that will automatically print out reports using plain paper.
Change Dealership Database -- Allows user to switch between several dealerships that may be run using the same computer.
Recent Deals List -- Displays the five most-recent deals by buyer name. Clicking on any of these names will bring up that deal's data without having to use the Load Deal function.
Exit -- Closes the program.
