The
button allows you to view and select a warranty from the plans offered by your dealership.
This list is populated and edited by using the Warranty Maintenance window, found under the 'Maintenance' tab in the top horizontal tool bar.
Choosing a Warranty
To display the Warranty Options window, click the Warranty Options button on the far left side of the main screen. If the button is not there, make sure you are in the 'Process Deal' tab and 1-Financial Calculations tab.
Warranty Options Window:
Click on a row in the table to highlight and select a warranty plan.
The table will display:
➢The warranty company, name of the plan, and its selling price.
➢The resulting monthly payment for the buyer.
➢A brief description of the plan including the number of months and miles covered under the plan.
To exit this window without making any changes to your current deal, click the Exit button.
To accept the warranty and add it to the current deal, click the Accept button.
The system will automatically add the warranty information to the current deal and update the payment information.
