Arranging, Saving and Printing the Menu

The Presentation Menu window is where menu information is entered.

For information on printing a menu, click on this link to jump to the bottom of the page.

To open a menu, you must be in the 'Process Deal' screen, under the 1-Financial Calculations tab.

Click 'Coverage Options' located on the left side of the screen.

The menu will be labeled with the customer's name from the current deal.  If no deal is opened, you will not see a customer name in the heading.

If you want to open an existing menu, click on the name in the 'Templates' list.  In the example below, there is only one template called 'Standard'.

See below for information on how to set up additional templates.

You can present up to four different menu plans at a time

Each of the four different option plans (A through D) can be given a title. In the example shown below, Plan A has been titled Maximum Protection.

Each of the four plans can also have up to four different options. Scroll down for more information on editing the menu.

Editing the Plans in the Presentation Menu

Each option has box with a down arrow button.  Click on the down arrow to select or change the option. This drop-down list contains items that were entered in the Presentation Options Menu Maintenance Window.

Just below the option entry box is a Price box where you enter the price of the option.

If an option is not showing up in the drop down, click on 'Edit Options' at the bottom of the window.  This is a shortcut that opens the Presentation Menu Options Maintenance window.  You can add new options here by clicking 'Add Option'.  Click Save/Edit to save the added option.

If you want the option for a particular row to be listed across the same row in all plans, click the Fill Row button. If you want to just copy the coverage listed on the same row in the previous plan, click the Copy button. If you wish to clear a coverage listed on a row for a specific plan, click the Del button.

If the template already has a name and you want to preserve the changes under this same name, click 'Save Template' in the upper left corner.  If you have made changes, and want to rename this template, choose 'Save Template As'.  A new window will open, allowing you to name this template and save it for future use.  The name will appear in 'Templates' section.  Clicking on the name will open this saved menu.

If this is a new template, and you want this particular menu to be available for other customers, click the 'Save Template As'.

Updating Existing Templates

You may edit a template by simply clicking on the template name in the listing to highlight it.

The highlighted template is currently displayed for editing. When you have finished editing your template, save your changes by clicking the Save Template button.

Use the 'Save Template As' button to change its name.

Deleting Templates

You may also delete a template by highlighting the unwanted template and clicking the Delete Template button.

Determining Payments with Added Options

Below the four different 'Plans' are boxes showing monthly payments.

Up to three different terms can be entered on the left side of the window.

This feature allows the customer to see what their overall payment would be for each of the four plans if the costs were spread out over the specified terms.

If the customer likes the options presented and decides to purchase, click the button next to the desired payment.

Applying Options to the Deal

A box in the lower left is labeled 'Selected Options and Prices will'.

Use the check boxes to decide whether the plan costs will be added to the appropriate numbers already in the deal or will replace the appropriate numbers in the deal. Once you have decided which method to use, click the Apply to Deal button to move the numbers to the deal section.

Printing the Menu for a Customer

There is an option to display the annual interest rate used to calculate each plan's payments on the printed menu. To show this rate, check the Display Finance Rate box.

To print the menu for a customer, click the Print button. A preview window will open to allow you to review the menu before giving the final printing command.
