Attaching a Filter

 

After setting up a custom report, you may want to attach a filter so that you do not have to filter the data each time you run the report.

 

In the Report Designer window, attach a filter by clicking on the down arrow in the 'Runtime Filter box.  A list of saved filters will be displayed for selection.

Save the report, and the filter will be applied every time the report is run.  You may want to save the report to a different name indicating the attached filter.
